We set off from Alice Springs at 7:30am for our next destination, Tennant Creek. About 100 kilometres South of Tennant Creek is a place called Wauchope where we took a few Photographs of the Devils Marbles. We found Tennant Creek somewhat disappointing. Basically a one street town. Any attraction/activities were a good distance away, so we decided to just have an overnight stay.

Tomorrow we head off to Mt. Isa via the Coomaweal road house for a petrol top up. By the time we arrive at Mt. Isa we will have two days up our sleeves. Our thinking is that we will add these days to our planned stop at Budgewoi.
